Fire Energy Group makes a magnificent turn to create ERE SolarValley in Châteaud
Recently, Les Echos, one of the mainstream financial media in France has reported that the famous distributor of PV products and EPC company in Europe—Fire Energy Group, has established an industrial park on a disused military base in Châteaudun, namely, the ERE SolarVally.
It is known that the ERE SolarVally covers an area of 60 hectares, about 110 km to the southwest of Paris. Moreover, it is only 200 km away from the northern port of Le Havre with convenient transportation by road, sea and air. Fire Energy is planning to invest over $ 2.5 million and provide 35 to 40 job opportunities in Châteaudun by the end of this year.
On March 16th, Fire Energy who is dedicated to build a PV Wal-Mart heard good news. After two months of negotiation, the Fire Energy Group has successfully reached an agreement with the French Logistics Giant GEODIS, to acquire its logistics park in Châteaudun. The industrial park covers an area of 2 hectares, with a storage capacity of 80MW of modules, 120MW of inverters and 200MW of mounting systems at the same time. This acquisition will further enhance the logistics and warehousing capabilities of the ERE SolarVally.
Chairman of the Fire Energy Group, John Liu said: "Fire Energy has taken over the logistics park completely, but we will continue to use the world leading management model of GEODIS Group. Fire Energy Group have always had a competitive advantage in logistics, the acquisition will further consolidate this advantage, which will provide high-quality low-cost logistics services for enterprises settled in the ERE SolarVally."
According to the planning of Fire Energy, the ERE SolarValley is comprised of four major functional areas: logistics and warehousing center for new energy products, production center, research center and exhibition center of new energy projects.
